SWORD Inclusion System explanation

The SWORD Inclusion system is an inclusive behavioral change model developed by Dr. Gerilyn Davis based on her 21 years of lived experience in combination with her rigorous research. All courses, cohorts, consulting, and board edition (coming soon) product offerings consist of using this process.

As an inclusion consultant, Dr. Gerilyn Davis has crafted the SWORD Inclusion system as a segment of Inclusion on the slopes based on a proven methodology that leverages a strength-based, system thinking, and integral psychology approach to equip individuals and organizations on their inclusive journey.

Ā

Strength-based approach

The Strength-based approach values the uniqueness of each individual. Strength is the ability to consistently provide near-perfect performance in a specific task. We all have them and can use them to create inclusion.Ā

Integral Psychology

Integral psychology is the ability to honor and embrace every legitimate aspect of human consciousness under one roof. Dr. Davis uses countless psychology methodologies to create an environment for inclusive practices to become developed and sustained.

Systems Thinking

Systems thinking is a way of making sense of the complexity of the world by looking at it in terms of wholes and relationships rather than by splitting it down into its parts. Dr. Davis uses system thinking as an opportunity to create systems of inclusion.
